Our family-run Lerchenberghof, with origins dating back to 1747, is more than just a hotel in the Oberlausitz region – it is a living testimony of bygone eras. Its story began as a linen weaving farm, shaping rural life and craftsmanship in the Oberlausitz region. Over the centuries, the estate has undergone numerous changes, yet its authenticity and heritage have always been preserved.
Our Hotel in the Oberlausitz – Restoration with Heart and Care
The most recent chapter in its history is defined by a lovingly executed restoration carried out between 2019 and 2022. Every step of this process was guided by respect for the past and a strong commitment to sustainability. It was particularly important to us to preserve the originality of the estate. Wherever possible, original and sustainable building elements were integrated into the restoration of our hotel in the Oberlausitz region and carefully refurbished. Wood, as a naturally renewable resource, played a central role. Old beams and wooden elements were restored with great attention to detail and incorporated into the new design, often as decorative features that highlight the historic charm of the estate.
The result of this extensive restoration is a harmonious blend of history and modern comfort. The Lerchenberghof now presents itself as a charming fusion of historic guesthouse and hotel, with eight comfortable holiday apartments as well as single and double rooms. Since 2022, our hotel in the Oberlausitz region has been welcoming guests, inviting them to enjoy a unique stay amid the picturesque landscapes of the Oberlausitz region. Our holiday apartments, rooms, and other accommodations provide the perfect setting for unforgettable moments and relaxing days away from everyday life.
